Natural Gas - Propane Gas Quick Couplings, ANSI Z21.41-1998 and CSA 6.9-M98, up to 0.5 psi - GF Series Nipples

GF Series Nipples {natural and propane gas up to 0.5 psi) connect with GF Series Couplers. The un-valved nipples have a fusible link that is activated by temperatures exceeding 350°F (177°C). In that event, when the coupler and nipple are connected, the fusible link will react to the elevated temperatures and allow the coupler valve to close, thus shutting off the gas supply to an appliance and preventing a gas-supported fire. Parker's GF Series is certified by CSA (Canadian Standards Association) to the ANSI Z21.41-2014 and CSA 6.9-2014 standards for quick disconnect devices for use with gas fuel appliances. These couplings are for use with natural, manufactured and mixed gas, liquified petroleum, and LP gas mixtures.
