  • Nylon Air Brake Tubing
Recognized as the global leader in air brake tubing, Parker develops brake system connections that maintain a basically fixed relationship between couplings during vehicle operation. The tubing is made from nylon and is available in more than ten colors for quick identification of lines. In addition, air brake tubing can be manufactured and prepared in pre-cut lengths, harnesses and preformed bundles that can reduce installation times by more than 70%. In tractor, trailer and other mobile air brake applications, time studies show an average chassis harness installation took 4 employees about 40 minutes to complete. However, with a Parflex preformed harness, installation time dropped to 10 minutes and only 1 employee was required to complete the installation. Based on labor rates of $30/hr, customers saved over $75 an hour and 150 production minutes. With reduced manufacturing and labor costs, increased dimensional stability, and excellent UV stability, Parflex Air Brake Tubing is the optimal solution for air brake applications in expanding transportation markets.

  • Flexible Nylon Tubing - N Series
Parker’s N/NN/NB Series Flexible Nylon Tubing uses high-grade resins for strength and flexibility for routing in tight spaces. It is made from abrasion-resistant, heat and light-stabilized nylon that is available in natural or black tubing. The black tubing is suggested for use in sunlit areas and in close proximity to high ultraviolet (UV) light sources. Nylon Tubing exhibits low-level water absorption and is chemically resistant, making it the optimal solution for machine tool and industrial pneumatic applications, such as robotics, lubrication, petroleum-based chemical transfer and pest control lines. N-Series Flexible Nylon is available in fractional inch and metric sizes. For metric sizes, see Metric Nylon Tubing, N/NB Series.Markets: • Robotics• Automation• Industrial Pneumatics• Machine Tool• Lubrication• Petroleum based chemical transfer• Pest control• Fluid HandlingFeatures/Benefits:• Flexible nylon tubing uses high-grade resins for strength and flexibility for routing in tight spaces• Made from abrasion-resistant, heat and light-stabilized nylon• Exhibits low-level water absorption• Chemically resistantApplications:• Robotics• Machine tool• General pneumatics• Lubrication• Petroleum-based chemical transfer• Pest control linesTechnical Specifications:• Working and burst pressures rated at 73°F (23°C)• A tube support should be used with this tubing for maximum holding power where end loading, vibration or pressure spikes may occur• The recommended operating temperature range for service at rated pressures with compatible fluids, depending upon conditions, is -54°C to +93°C (-65°F to +200°F)• Black tubing suggested for use in sunlit areas and in close proximity to high ultraviolet light sources• The wall thickness is for reference only• Available on reels.
