Parker's Hi-Duty fittings are preassembled with the sleeve machined onto the nut. During assembly the sleeve breaks away from the nut and seals on the tubing. This unique design creates tight; leak free joints that withstand pressures of most commonly used types of tubing including seamless steel tubing, copper, brass and thermoplastic tubing. This design also provides a vibration dampener which enables joints to stand up under moderate vibration.

Parker's Flareless 24° Bite Type inch fittings, Ferulok, have a visible bite which allows the fitting assembler to visually inspect the bite quality, which significantly minimizes the risk of improper assembly and related service problems. The rear compression grip of the ferrule firmly holds the nut and tubing, dampening the effects of vibration and extending the life of the joint. Exceeding the requirements of SAE J514, Ferulok Flareless Bite Type fittings are especially suitable for use with applications requiring tube wall thicknesses ranging from medium to extra heavy.

Parker's flareless inch bite type fittings, Intru-Lok®, have a visible bite which allows the fitting assembler to visually inspect the bite quality, which significantly minimizes the risk of improper assembly and related service problems. This design has higher working pressures than most brass compression type fittings, and addresses those applications that require a bite by the ferrule in systems with brass, copper, aluminum and plastic tubing.
