Connect Under Pressure, Multi-Purpose Quick Couplings (hyd, fluids) up to 4,500 psi - Snap-tite PH Series Nipples
Snap-tite PH Series Nipples (hydraulic, fluid) up to 4,500 psi connect with valved Snap-tite H Series Couplers. It is recommended that only one half of the connection (coupler or nipple) be PH version, not both.
Parker's Snap-tite PH Series have poppet valves with an added pressure relief feature to allow connection under static pressures up to 3000 psi. With a Snap-tite PH Series Nipple installed on a pressurized line you can easily connect with a mating valved Snap-tite H Series Coupler. PH Couplers and nipples are available in 1/2" size with other sizes available by request.
Technical Characteristics:
• Sizes: 1/2" std (3/8” – 1” by request)
• Materials: Steel
• Port Ends: Female NPTF, Male SAE 37 degree Flare std (Female SAE, Male NPT by request)
• Seal Options: Nitrile, Fluorocarbon, Ethylene Propylene
Markets:
• Industrial
• Construction
• Oil and Gas
• Agriculture
Features/Benefits:
• Original Snap-tite H Series multi-purpose coupling, widely used in varied applications
• PH version connect under pressure option to connect lines with residual pressure caused by thermal expansion
• Male port end options add versatility
Applications:
• Industrial hydraulic lines
• Water and coolant lines
• High pressure fluid transfer
• Mobile equipment
• Cleaning equipment
• General purpose fluid applications where residual pressure is present on the Nipple side of the connection
