Medium Duty Hydraulic Cylinders Series 3L
Parker Series 3L cylinders provide value through proven reliability, efficient performance, and quality that you expect from every Parker Cylinder Division product line. Each Series 3L cylinder incorporates design features one would not expect to see in a 1,000 psi nominally rated cylinder. These features include the “Jewel” rod gland, adjustable floating cushions, hard chrome plated piston rods, and high strength tie rods with rolled threads instead of cut threads.
In addition to the “Jewel” rod gland assembly and hard chrome plated piston rods Series 3L incorporate a multitude of innovative design features that increase machine productivity through reduced downtime, faster cycle times, and improved system efficiency.
• Primary Rod Seal – The TS-2000 Rod Seal is a proven leakproof design – completely self-compensating and self-relieving to withstand variations and conform to mechanical deflection that may occur.
• Secondary Rod Seal – Double-Service Wiperseal™ wipes clean any oil film adhering to the rod on the extend stroke and cleans the rod on the return stroke.
• Body End Seals – Pressure actuated cylinder body-to-head and cap “O” rings provide leak free service.
• Adjustable Floating Cushions – For maximum performance Parker cushions are economical and flexible for even the most demanding applications. They provide superior performance in reducing shock. Cushions are optional and can be supplied at head end, cap end, or both ends without change in envelope or mounting dimensions.
• One-Piece Nodular Iron Piston – The wide piston surface contacting cylinder bore reduces bearing loads. The one piece design is piloted to the piston rod, assuring concentricity.
• Lipseal™ Piston – Piston Lipseals operate with zero leakage under static conditions Lipseals are self-compensating to conform to variations in pressure, mechanical deflection / wear and are installed with a back-up washer to prevent extrusion.
Every Series 3L cylinder is individually tested before it leaves our facility to ensure proper performance and leak free operation and comes with an eighteen month warranty.
