Parker Series 2H/3H Gen II Heavy Duty Hydraulic Cylinders set the standard for performance, durability, and trouble free operation. Parker's superior design, the use of high quality materials and stringent manufacturing practices provide all customers with long cylinder service life and reduced operating costs. Design features such as “Jewel” rod gland assembly, hard chrome plated piston rods, and stepped cushions provide increased machine productivity.
In addition to the “Jewel” rod gland assembly and hard chrome plated piston rods Series 2H/3H, Series 2HD/3HD & Series 2HB/3HB incorporate a multitude of innovative design features that reduce downtime and provide improved system efficiency as a result of faster cycle times.
• Primary Rod Seal – in Series 2H/3H the TS-2000 Rod Seal and in Series 2HD/3HD and 2HB/3HB the Tri-Lip Rod seal are a proven leakproof designs – completely self-compensating and self-relieving to withstand variations and conform to mechanical deflection that may occur.
• Secondary Rod Seal – the standard polyurethane Double-Service Wiperseal™ wipes clean any oil film adhering to the rod on the extend stroke and cleans the rod on the return stroke.
• Body End Seals – Pressure actuated polyurethane cylinder body-to-head and cap “O” rings provide leak free service.
• Floating Stepped Cushions with Captive Needle Valve – For maximum performance Parker cushions are economical and flexible for even the most demanding applications. They provide superior performance in reducing shock. Cushions are optional and can be supplied at head end, cap end, or both ends without change in envelope or mounting dimensions.
• Universal Piston Design – Parker’s new universal piston seal design addresses the performance balance between low pressure sealability, low friction, extrusion resistance and seal life. One piston style is used for all piston seal and wear ring configurations and will suit all application requirements.
Every Series 2H/3H, Series 2HD/3HD & Series 2HB/3HB cylinder is individually tested before leaving our plant to assure proper performance and leak free operation and comes with an eighteen month warranty.
